Dr Rui Castro is a lawyer and was most recently a judge in Portugal.
He was fired for asking witnesses to take their masks off so he could read their facial expressions better.
He now runs a successful freedom movement in Portugal.

When I read the preamble relating to Dr Castro being sacked for wanting to see faces not coveted up by masks, I reacted so loudly that I’m sure all the neighbours must have heard me. But the story has a wonderful upside in that now that he is outside the system he will have a more positive effect on the wrongs that have permeated every organisation.
Brave man is he. And so must we be. Prepare for the worst and pray for the best
the new variant in South Africa means they are going to get serious on grinding the people into submission now
