The Australian Spirit has come alive in the last few weeks, especially in Melbourne.
A group of non-discriminatory hairdressers decided to give free haircuts to people who can’t or don’t want to show their vax pass to get a haircut.
This may seem like a small thing but it’s much bigger than it looks. Community action like this is very powerful. Well done to everyone who got involved.
Pain brings us together. It’s not the nicest way to achieve it, but it’s working!
When we are backed into a corner, we will fight tooth and nail…don’t worry…we’ll get there!

@monica Yes, you are correct this is a very powerful and important service to the community. It proves how hair is directly tied to our deeper ideas of identity and community. This is why they banned you being able to get a haircut during the numerous lock-downs but allowed you to obtain alcohol and go to a brothel. Everyone involved in helping to end this ongoing tyranny is to be congratulated…
well said FV!
Such a simple gesture but a big dig at the government! How can you deny humans essential services like this? Soon enough the unavxxed will be barred from even going to get groceries… 🤦🏽♂️
